Hello and thanks for taking time to visit my website.
About Me:
I am based in the New South Wales Southern Highlands. At school, I made a model of pin hole camera, and then after leaving school taking photographs has been important to me since I first purchased my camera at age 18. Over time, I have developed my skills through training and experience. Occasionally I have had my work featured in magazines.
Although I started out shooting film, and learning how to process and develop my own photos in a darkroom, I exclusively shoot with digital cameras today.
I understand that some people have the same comfort level knowing that they are going to have their photo taken, on par with a visit to the dentist! My clients say that I am very easy to get along with, very friendly and easy to get along with – and never pushy. I take pride in my ability to listen and to hear what their needs are – and I deliver.
My portfolio showcases some of the best photographs that I have taken over the past few years: trying to convey a story with images. If you see something here that you would like to purchase – please contact me for printing options and finishes.
About Print Finishing Options:
There are an exciting number of print finishes available today, from the traditional paper, canvas, acrylic and metal. Got a project? Replace that photo album (or shoe box full of prints) with a photo book.
Whenever choosing to have a picture printed, my only advice is to think big – think about the print options, and please think about an image size larger than a smart phone screen.
Availability:
I am readily available to work in Southern New South Wales, but I would be interested in working on projects further afield. Please feel free to contact me via the form. You can also follow my work on Flickr, Facebook and Instagram.
Pricing:
Ok - it’s a common question: “so, how much do you charge?”.
This is not an easy question to answer, because there is not a “one size – fits all” price. When you contact me regarding your photography needs, we’ll talk about your expectations of what you want to achieve. Based on your instructions, then we can address the location, logistics, medium and usage and licensing requirements. We’ll then work through any potential challenges to achieving your final vision and plan how to best work through those challenges, before producing an estimate.
My role is to produce your vision.
Thanks again, I look forward to hearing from you.
Gary
